“O’side is becoming a hockey town. Pretty ambitious for a place where 65 degrees qualifies as a winter emergency. VenuePass gets you and a guest VIP suite access to every Oceanside Shock game at Frontwave Arena. Premium parking, VIP entrance, and your own waiter. Meanwhile, grown men slam each other into glass for your entertainment. You’ll be in the suite, drink in hand, pretending you’ve been a hockey fan your whole life. Look at you, O’side. So cultured.”

Oceanside Shock and VenuePass FAQ
Where do the Oceanside Shock play?
The Oceanside Shock play their home games at Frontwave Arena, 3475 Hero Drive, Oceanside, CA 92056, in North County San Diego. The arena opened in September 2024 and the Shock played their first home game there in October 2026.
What league are the Oceanside Shock in?
The Shock play in the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL), an independent professional league. They are an expansion team and 2026–27 is their first season, with home games at Frontwave Arena from October into April.
Can I get suite seats for one Oceanside Shock game without renting a whole suite?
Yes, and VenuePass is the only way to do it. Every other suite at Frontwave Arena is sold as a full buyout for the event. The VenuePass suite is the one place you can come as two people: with a $100 Preview Pass for a single game, or as a member for every game.
How do I get VIP suite seats for an Oceanside Shock game?
Request a preview invite. When a Shock game opens up we text you, and a $100 Preview Pass gets you and a guest the full suite experience at one event. If you like it, a VenuePass membership gives you two reserved suite seats at every Oceanside Shock home game at Frontwave Arena, along with every other event on the arena calendar.
Do I still need to buy Oceanside Shock tickets?
No. A VenuePass membership covers two suite seats at every Shock home game, and a $100 Preview Pass covers you and a guest for one game. No tickets, no fees, no resale apps.
What is included with VenuePass at an Oceanside Shock game?
Two reserved seats in the VenuePass suite, premium parking, a private VIP entrance, waiter service at your seat and access to the lounge and patio after the event. Food and drinks are ordered a la carte.
How much does VenuePass cost?
A Shock preview game is $100 for you and a guest, by invitation. Membership is $595 a month at the founding rate for the first 12 members, $695 a month after that, and covers two seats at every event at Frontwave Arena. Join within 7 days of your preview and the $100 comes off your membership.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes, every time. A VenuePass membership is two seats, so your guest is always included.
Is VenuePass affiliated with the Oceanside Shock?
No. VenuePass is an independent membership and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Oceanside Shock or the Federal Prospects Hockey League. VenuePass holds an annual suite agreement in cooperation with Frontwave Arena and Levy Restaurants.
What else can I see at Frontwave Arena with VenuePass?
Everything on the calendar: San Diego Clippers basketball, San Diego Sockers indoor soccer, Oceanside Shock hockey, San Diego Seals lacrosse, indoor football, plus concerts, comedy and family shows.
